Arrival and straight into Paris!

Upon arrival into Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport in the morning you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Leave your luggage and begin your Paris adventure at the Eiffel Tower, travelling to its observation decks for spectacular views across the French capital. Continue to the elegant Jardin des Tuileries, where fountains, sculptures and tree-lined pathways create one of the city’s most beautiful public spaces. The gardens lead towards the Louvre Museum, home to thousands of extraordinary artworks and historical treasures, including the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo. End your first day with dinner at a traditional Parisian restaurant.

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel you will start your day at the Palais de Chaillot and Trocadéro Gardens, one of the finest viewpoints for photographs of the Eiffel Tower. Continue to the Arc de Triomphe, built to honour those who served France during the Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. From here, explore the Champs-Élysées, Paris’s most celebrated avenue, with time to browse its shops and experience its lively atmosphere. As evening approaches, enjoy another perspective on the beautifully illuminated city before dinner.

Discover the Latin Quarter, an atmospheric neighbourhood known for its universities, bookshops and café culture. Visit the Panthéon, where some of France’s most influential writers, scientists and political figures are commemorated. Later, board a cruise along the River Seine and see famous landmarks from the water. Complete the day with an interactive French language lesson, developing useful vocabulary and the confidence to practise it during dinner at a local restaurant.

Travel beyond Paris to the magnificent Palace of Versailles, once the royal residence of Louis XIV. Explore its lavish interiors, including the spectacular Hall of Mirrors, before discovering the formal gardens, ornamental fountains and sweeping avenues surrounding the palace. Return to Paris and spend the evening in Montmartre, a historic artists’ neighbourhood filled with winding streets and creative character. Visit the hilltop Sacré-Cœur Basilica and enjoy panoramic views across the city.

After enjoying breakfast you will be met by your coach and head to Gare Du Nord railway station and board your train to the beautiful French Riviera. What better way to further brush up on your language skills! Upon arrival and after checking into your hotel, you will join a guided walking tour through colourful Vieux Nice, explore the lively Cours Saleya Market and stroll along the famous Promenade des Anglais. The evening concludes with dinner at a local restaurant and an introduction to the distinctive flavours of the French Riviera.

Highlights of the Côte d’Azur

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel you will set out on a guided journey along the Côte d’Azur. Discover Cannes, famous for its international film festival, and explore the historic streets and marina of Antibes. Continue to the medieval hilltop village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, celebrated for its stone buildings, galleries and artistic heritage. The day concludes in Monaco, where students can experience the atmosphere of one of the world’s smallest independent states and the areas where the Grand Prix takes place every year.

You will then return to Nice for dinner before heading back to your hotel.

French Language & Perfume Making

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel your day will begin with a French language lesson in Nice, building communication skills through practical and engaging activities. Afterwards, travel to Grasse, widely regarded as the perfume capital of the world. During a perfume apprentice workshop at Fragonard, learn how professional perfumers combine different notes and ingredients before creating a personalised fragrance to take home. Return to Nice for a memorable final dinner on the Riviera.

Final farewell

Enjoy some final free time in Nice.

Take one last walk along the Promenade des Anglais, browse for souvenirs or simply enjoy the relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere. You will then transfer to the airport for your return flight, bringing an unforgettable journey through French art, history, language and culture to a close.
