While Day 2 introduced you to NASA’s remarkable history, rockets, spacecraft and legendary missions, today offers a completely different experience. Rather than general sightseeing, you will become part of the action during an immersive Astronaut Training Experience.

Using advanced simulation technology, you will discover the challenges of living and working beyond Earth. Working together in teams, students may navigate simulated Martian terrain, conduct scientific experiments and respond to realistic mission scenarios. The programme encourages critical thinking, communication, resilience and collaborative problem-solving while providing an exciting insight into the skills required for future missions to Mars.

In the afternoon, the scientific adventure continues at iFLY, where you will explore the physics of flight and freefall. Skimming across the water aboard a powerful airboat, you will explore winding waterways surrounded by wetlands, lush vegetation and remarkable wildlife. Your knowledgeable guide will share fascinating information about the area’s history, delicate ecosystem and the importance of protecting its natural habitats.

Keep your eyes open for Florida’s most famous resident—the American alligator! These impressive reptiles may be spotted basking beside the water or gliding almost silently beneath its surface. Students will learn about their behaviour, diet, adaptations and vital role within the ecosystem.
