After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, meet your guide and set out for a fascinating day exploring the ancient heart of Athens. Begin at the magnificent Acropolis, which rises approximately 150 metres above the city and is crowned by the world-famous Parthenon. As you explore the site, discover how its temples became powerful symbols of ancient Greek culture, religion, architecture and achievement.
Continue to the Ancient Agora, once the centre of political, commercial and social life in classical Athens. Walk among the remains of temples and public buildings while learning how citizens gathered here to debate, trade and participate in the development of democracy.
Your journey through ancient Athens continues at the Acropolis Museum, where sculptures and archaeological discoveries from the sacred hill are displayed in a striking modern setting. The mysteries of Delphi
Following breakfast at the hotel, board your private coach and leave Athens behind for a full-day excursion to Delphi. The journey takes you through the dramatic mountain scenery of central Greece to one of the most important religious sites of the ancient world.
According to Greek mythology, Delphi was considered the centre of the world. It later became famous as the home of the Oracle of Apollo, where rulers, military leaders and ordinary citizens came to seek advice before making important decisions. Explore the remains of the Temple of Apollo, the ancient theatre and the Sacred Way once followed by pilgrims bringing gifts and offerings to the oracle Pythia.
You will also visit the Archaeological Museum of Delphi, which houses remarkable treasures discovered across the site. Among its most celebrated exhibits is the bronze Charioteer of Delphi, one of the finest surviving sculptures from ancient Greece. At the end of your visit, travel back to Athens and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Mycenae & Epidavros
Start the day with breakfast at your hotel before travelling into the Peloponnese for another exciting journey into Greece’s legendary past. Your first destination is Mycenae, a powerful Bronze Age kingdom closely connected with King Agamemnon, Greek mythology and the stories of the Trojan War.
Enter the ancient citadel through the monumental Lion Gate and explore the remains of royal buildings, burial grounds and enormous defensive walls. These impressive stone fortifications were so large that later Greeks believed they could only have been built by the mythical Cyclopes. As you explore, discover how Mycenae became one of the most influential centres of early Greek civilisation more than 3,000 years ago.
In the afternoon, continue to Epidaurus, an important ancient sanctuary dedicated to Asclepius, the Greek god of medicine and healing. The site is best known for its beautifully preserved theatre, celebrated for its harmonious design and extraordinary acoustics. Experience how even quiet sounds can travel across the vast performance space and learn about the important role theatre played in ancient Greek society. Enjoy dinner during the return journey before arriving back at your hotel in Athens.

Final Morning in Athens

After a final breakfast at your hotel, enjoy some leisure time to make the most of your last morning in Athens. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have an opportunity to shop for souvenirs, explore a nearby neighbourhood or simply relax and reflect on the discoveries and experiences of the past few days.
You will then return to the hotel, collect your luggage and check out before meeting your driver. Transfer by private coach to Athens International Airport, where you will check in for your return flight home, bringing your journey through the myths, monuments and remarkable history of ancient Greece to an end.
