Upon arrival at Václav Havel Airport Prague, you will be welcomed by your driver and transferred to your hotel. After checking in and settling into your accommodation, enjoy an introductory walk through the surrounding area and begin discovering the atmosphere of the Czech capital. Prague’s cobbled streets, historic buildings and striking skyline provide an exciting first glimpse of the days ahead. In the evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel.

Prague Castle and much more

After breakfast, begin your exploration in Josefov, Prague’s historic Jewish Quarter. Visit the Old New Synagogue, one of Europe’s oldest active synagogues, and learn about the history and resilience of Prague’s Jewish community. In the afternoon, continue to Prague Castle, an extraordinary complex founded in the ninth century. Explore its courtyards and architectural landmarks while discovering how the castle has represented political and royal power for more than a thousand years. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant.

Today you will explore some of Prague’s most celebrated landmarks. Walk across the magnificent Charles Bridge, lined with statues and offering memorable views over the River Vltava. Continue into Old Town Square, where Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture reveal different chapters of the city’s development. Look out for the medieval Astronomical Clock and the dramatic twin towers of the Church of Our Lady before Týn. The day provides an engaging introduction to Prague’s culture, tourism economy and architectural heritage before dinner at a local restaurant.

Today brings the programme’s principal Business Studies experiences. Begin with an economics lecture at CERGE-EI, a leading academic institution specialising in economics and economic research. Students will gain insight into economic decision-making and the forces influencing the Czech and wider European economies.

In the afternoon, travel to Mladá Boleslav, the historic home of Škoda Auto. Discover how the company developed from a local manufacturer into an internationally recognised automotive brand, while examining modern production, technology, logistics, quality control and workforce organisation. After an informative day connecting classroom theory with real business operations, enjoy dinner before returning to Prague.

Old Town & departure

After breakfast and checking out of your hotel, enjoy a final sightseeing tour through Prague’s medieval Old Town. Wander through its atmospheric streets, admire its historic façades and revisit some of the city’s most memorable views. Depending on your flight time, there may also be an opportunity to purchase souvenirs or enjoy some free time in the city centre. You will then meet your driver and transfer to Václav Havel Airport for your return flight to Dubai, bringing your Prague business and cultural experience to an end.
